NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION TO FINANCE
WATER SYSTEM UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on July 8, 2026, the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Milford, New York (the “Village”) duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to permissive referendum. If a permissive referendum is sought, the petition requesting a permissive referendum must be filed with the Village Clerk within 30 days from adoption of the resolution. The purpose of the resolution is to authorize the Village to finance upgrades and improvements needed to the Village water system, including repairs to the water storage tank, replacement of certain water mains, replacement of water meters and installation of stand-by power. The Village will be seeking assistance through the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC). The Note shall not exceed the principal amount of $2,093,500 and shall be financed for a period not to exceed forty (40) years. A copy of the resolution is on file with the Village Clerk. The Village Board of Trustees found that based on the alternatives available to it, pursuing financing to make the necessary improvements to the water system is in the best interest of the Village. The Village Board of Trustees considered the State Environmental Quality Review Act and found that the financing is a Type 2 action and will not have a negative impact on the environment. All documents relating to the proposed financing are on file with the Village Clerk.
